Covering a wide spectrum of diabetes-related topics, from making healthy lifestyle choices to avoiding diabetes-related complications, Oprah and her health team will talk about diabetes testing and healthy foods, while also introducing viewers to a woman with diabetes on dialysis, who is a double amputee.

Message for Oprah > 10-15 years ago I tried to get the American Diabetic Assoc. to research the issue of Type II Diabetes directly affected by the way food is controlled improperly once a child begins school and that the school is strongly related to learning improper eating habits and causal factor in an adult then, now also youth acquiring Type II Diabetes. They were not interested. I am a psychologist and have worked with it for 30 years. You might be interested in learning more.
